Google Pixel 8 series is set to be revealed at the upcoming Made by Google event on October 4. With the event drawing closer, more leaks about the next-generation Pixel phones are surfacing online. The latest leak unveils the European pricing details, storage configurations, and color options for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Previous leaks suggested that the Pixel 8 series would only come in an eSIM version, but new discoveries indicate that Google will include physical SIM card slots on the handsets. Additionally, the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to feature Night Sight video.

According to tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), in collaboration with TheTechOutlook, the Pixel 8 will have a price tag of EUR 874.25 (roughly Rs. 78,400) for the 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage variant is expected to be priced at EUR 949.30 (roughly Rs. 85,200). The Pixel 8 will be available in hazel, mint, obsidian, and rose color options.

As for the Pixel 8 Pro, it could cost EUR 1,235.72 (roughly Rs. 1,10,900) for the 128GB storage model, while the 256GB storage model is said to be priced at EUR 1,309.95 (roughly Rs. 1,17,500). The high-end 512GB model will reportedly have a price of EUR 1,461.24 (roughly Rs. 1,31,100). Color options for the Pro model include bay, mint, obsidian, and porcelain shades.

All the prices mentioned include 23 percent VAT (value-added tax). Excluding VAT, the base variant of the Pixel 8 could cost around EUR 710.77 (roughly Rs. 63,000), while the top-end model may be priced at around EUR 771.79 (roughly Rs. 69,000). Without VAT, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to have a price range of around EUR 1,004.65 (roughly Rs. 90,000), EUR 1,065 (roughly Rs. 95,000), and EUR 1,188 (roughly Rs. 1,06,600) for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage models respectively.

In another report by 9to5Google, it is claimed that the Pixel 8 series will come with both eSIM and physical SIM card slots, contradicting previous speculation that the phones would be eSIM-only in certain regions. Furthermore, the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to support Night Sight video, enhancing the quality of low-light videos. This feature would be powered by the faster image signal processor (ISP) and AI capabilities of the Tensor G3 SoC.

Recent leaks have provided plenty of information about the Pixel 8 series. Both smartphones are rumored to run on Android 14 and feature 120Hz refresh rate displays. They are also expected to be equipped with the Tensor G3 chip, an upgrade from the previous Tensor G2 SoC. The Pixel 8 Pro is said to come with a 4,950mAh battery and support 27W wired fast charging, while the Pixel 8 may have a 4,485mAh battery with 24W wired charging and 12W wireless charging support.
