The Infinix GT 10 Pro has been launched in India as a mid-range smartphone specifically designed for gamers in the country. This new device, which is a product of Transsion Group, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset and comes with a 108-megapixel primary camera. On another note, Samsung’s latest foldable phones are now available for pre-booking in India, following the announcement of their prices by the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. Additionally, the Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale kicked off at midnight on Friday, granting early access to Prime subscribers before opening up to all customers.

The latest episode of the Gadgets 360 podcast Orbital features guest host and Reviews Editor, Roydon Cerejo, and Senior Reviewer, Sheldon Pinto, who discuss the most notable technology news stories of the week. Topics covered include the pricing of the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in India, as well as the new Infinix GT series gaming phone.

Samsung has raised prices for its new foldable phones compared to the models released last year. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 come with several hardware upgrades, such as updated Snapdragon chipsets and a larger external display on the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The Amazon Great Freedom Festival, which opened to all customers on Friday, marks the e-commerce platform’s first major sale since the exclusive Amazon Prime Day event held last month. Unlike Prime Day, which was only available to Prime subscribers and lasted for two days, the Great Freedom Festival is open to all Amazon users and will run until August 8.

The podcast also covers the newly launched Infinix GT 10 Pro, a mid-range device from the Chinese smartphone maker. Along with a Dimensity 8050 chipset and a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED LTPS display, this handset features an LED light system on the rear panel. Interestingly, the design of new smartphones seems to be inspired by the Nothing Phone 2, as the recently released Tecno Pova 5 Pro also comes with an RGB LED notification system on its rear panel.
